Robinvale Estate’s gourmet Caramelised Onions are the traditional flavour that everybody loves. Tossed into a salad or into a burger, Caramelised Onions are both sweet and pungent. As the onions are slowly cooked down, the sugars and juices in the onion are caramelised, producing that rich, pungent flavour that we’ve all come to know and love.
Robinvale Estate prides itself on sourcing only the freshest ingredients from the local area. Our onions are sourced locally in season, and the caramelisation process happens right here at our estate.
Caramelised Onions make a great accompaniment for any meat, are delicious on a pizza, or simply added to a grazing board. We think our Caramelised Onions taste fantastic with goats cheese for a simple serving platter.
