Robinvale Estate is proud to present its very own top shelf extra virgin olive oil. Made right here on our olive farms, our Murray Gold & Late Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oils truly comes from our farm to your table. We have been growing olives here at our estate since 1946, and have been creating some of Australia’s finest olive oil ever since.

As well as being grown here, our olives are also processed right here on our farm. All of our extra virgin olive oil is cold pressed right here at Robinvale Estate, producing a fruity, robust, and well-balanced flavour.

At Robinvale Estate, growing standards are extremely important to us. We grow a premium product free from contaminants and toxins, and our cold-press method prevents the loss of any flavour or nutrition from the oil. The olive oil is captured in all of its natural beauty, making it the perfect earthy flavour for a range of different dishes.

For customers that value local, fresh produce, Robinvale Estate’s extra virgin olive oils are the perfect product for the pantry. Shop our farm fresh extra virgin olive oils below, or check out our Gift Box Hamper Collection for food hampers containing our olive oils.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our extra virgin olive oil collection is made right here at Robinvale Estate using a traditional cold press method. Cold pressing the oil results in a healthier, richer, and more flavourful oil than other, more modern extraction methods. Pressing takes place within 4-8 hours after harvest, producing the freshest olive oil. We do not use any solvents in the process, which means that no contaminants find their way into our olive oil, making it a healthy and delicious choice.

You can use Robinvale Estate’s Extra Virgin Olive Oils the exact same way you would use any other high quality olive oil. Drizzle it over a salad or use it in cooking. In its raw form, its flavour is stronger and earthier. Cooked in, the flavour is more subtle and lends itself to a range of different dishes.

We have our very own olive farm right here at our property in Robinvale Estate. All of the olives grown to produce our Murray Gold and Late Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oils are cultivated and harvested right here on our own property. We have been growing olives and making olive oil since 1946, and have been providing Australia and the local Mildura area with fine olive oil ever since then.

The Murray Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a strong, earthy, and pungent flavour compared to the Late Harvest variety. As the name suggests, the Late Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made with olives that stay on the tree for slightly longer, producing a lighter oil and a lighter product. This means it can replace almost all oils in cooking, including margarine.

Since the 1940s, we have continued to develop the different varieties of olives that we grow here at Robinvale Estate. Our grove currently contains Kalamata olives, Koroneiki and Correggiola olives. The varieties themselves have slight genetic differences, often adopted from their country of origin. While Kalamata originates from the Kalamata region of Greece, Correggiola olives originate from Tuscany.

For most scenarios, you can absolutely replace your regular cooking oil with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For example, you can use extra virgin olive oil when frying your eggs or cooking pasta, giving food a more robust and healthy flavour. However, for deep frying or other high temperature cooking methods, extra virgin olive oil does not replace your regular cooking oil.

Robinvale Estate’s extra virgin olive oil is made by cold pressing olives until they release the oils contained in the fruit. While our Agrumato olive oils are made using the same process, the olives are pressed together with other herbs such as garlic or chilli. This gives our Agrumato oils a distinct flavour that contains notes of the herbs they are pressed with. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oils are more traditional in flavour, whereas a wide variety of flavours can be found in Agrumato oils.
